Logicenters fortsätter arbetet mot mer hållbar logistik – installerar solceller tillsammans med hyresgästen Bring i Danmark

Nyligen färdigställdes Logicenters moderna crossdockanläggning i danska Greve, strax utanför Köpenhamn. Nu ska logistikfastighetsaktören tillsammans med hyresgästen Bring i Danmark utrusta fastigheten med en 1 950 m² stor solcellsanläggning på taket. Totalt beräknas solcellerna sedan producera omkring 300 000 KWh energi årligen.

Under början av 2019 togs första spadtaget för Logicenters moderna crossdockanläggning i Ventrupparken 4, Greve, utanför Köpenhamn och nyligen färdigställdes den närmare 14 000 m² stora anläggningen. Som ett ytterligare steg i att stärka fastighetens miljöprofil ska Logicenters nu, tillsammans med hyresgästen Bring i Danmark, utrusta taket med solceller. Totalt kommer solcellerna att täcka en takyta på 1 950 m² och beräknas kunna generera omkring 300 000 KWh energi årligen.

Under förra året anslöt sig Logicenters genom NREP till RE100, en global koalition med syftet att driva en grön omställning. Samtidigt genomfördes även energibesiktningar av ett tiotal av Logicenters fastigheter, där resultatet visade på stor besparingspotential. Genom att effektivisera energiförbrukningen i fastigheterna skulle energikostnaderna kunna sänkas med upp till en tredjedel.

”Bring har ambitiösa miljömål där vi som logistikbolag har spänt bågen och arbetar för att vara fossilfria i all vår verksamhet till 2025. I detta arbete var det naturligt att vi ville samarbeta med Logicenters för att installera Brings hittills största solcellsanläggning. Anläggningen kommer att göra att vi kan köra ut våra transporter med direkt solel då vi även satsar på elbilar i vårt distributionsnät”, säger Jonas Olsson, fastighetsansvarig på Bring i Danmark.

Solcellerna på anläggningens tak kommer att ha en elektrisk kapacitet på 354 KWp och installationen görs av Better Energy. Den beräknas vara klar under slutet av Q3 2020. Tidigare i år påbörjades även bygget av Nordens största solcellsanläggning på tak på en av Logicenters logistikanläggningar strax utanför Göteborg i Sverige.

Bring Danmark växer med Logicenters

I våras togs första spadtaget för Logicenters moderna crossdockanläggning på 14 872 kvm utanför Köpenhamn i Danmark. Då meddelades det att Bring Danmark skulle hyra drygt 70 procent av fastigheten. Nu står det dock klart att Bring utökar och
hyr hela anläggningens yta.

I februari 2019 skrevs ett avtal mellan Logicenters och Bring Danmark avseende uthyrning av 11 160 kvm logistikyta i en modern crossdockanläggning i Greve, Danmark. Månaden därpå togs första spadtaget för den nya anläggningen. Nu står det klart att Bring kommer hyra fastighetens totala yta på 14 872 kvm istället för den tidigare aviserade storleken. Därmed utökar företaget sin logistiskyta i fastigheten med drygt 30 procent.

”Det är glädjande att Brings satsning på e-handeln har gett så pass goda resultat att de redan innan logistikanläggningens färdigställning utökar sin logistikyta. För Logicenters del är det viktigt att kunna förutse våra kunders framtida behov för att kunna tillgodose dessa när de uppstår. Detta är bevis på att vår flexibla affärsmodell stöder våra kunder i deras tillväxt”, säger Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Logicenters.

Den moderna crossdockanläggningen kommer att ha en tydlig miljöprofil och ska utrustas med solceller på taket. Sortering kommer att kunna ske i två lager då byggnaden blir cirka 12 meter hög. Även personalens säkerhet är prioriterad genom en gångbro från parkeringen till kontoret. Anläggningen är under uppförande och beräknas färdigställas under 2020.

”Det är roligt att se att efterfrågan för vår e-handelssatsningen har överstigit våra förväntningar, vilket har resulterat i vårt behov av en större logistikyta. På Logicenters sida har man varit mycket tillmötesgående i att möta våra logistiska behov och krav på hållbarhet. Logicenters completes logistics facility in Ishøj

Since May 2018, Logicenters has been developing a new logistics facility just outside Copenhagen. At the time development began, a lease was also signed with Havi Logistics, which have moved into 4,500 m² leaving 8,900 m² available for another tenant.

Logicenters’ new logistics facility at Vejleåvej 11 in the industrial district of Winthersminde outside Copenhagen has now been completed. A lease was signed with Havi Logistics back in May 2018 when the development was beginning. The lease is for a logistics area of 4,500 m² and comprises freezer, refrigerated and traditional storage. Havi Logistics has moved into the property, which has a total area of 13,400 m². This means that there is still 8,900 m² of modern high ceiling logistics space available for a new tenant.

“We have cooperated closely with Havi Logistics throughout the development process to ensure that its needs have beenfully met. At the same time, we have succeeded in constructing a generic facility complying with modern specifications so that the facility can also be adapted for tenants wishing to move into the remaining 8,900 m². It is a strategic position for us to develop a state-of-the-art facility and the property is part of our investment in increasing our presence in the Copenhagen area,” says Mikael Sahlin Olesen, Asset Manager at Logicenters.

Breaking ground for new Logicenters cross-docking facility in Greve, Denmark

Yesterday marked the start of the construction of Logicenters’ new property in Greve, Denmark. The cross-docking facility is scheduled for tenant hand-over in 2020.

Logicenters has now broken ground on a new construction in Greve, a suburb to Copenhagen. The development is one of the first modern cross-docking facilities of its type; an added height of the building will enable two-story sorting and a 2,000 m2 mezzanine level will be fitted out as offices, future proofing the property for the long term.

”Logicenters strives to always be at the forefront of this type of property development and the facility’s specifications display the characteristics of a modern logistics facility. We are proud to be building a cross-docking facility that will reflect the logistics of tomorrow, especially in an important hub such as Greve”, says Matthias Kettelhoit, Commercial Head at Logicenters.

The facility will have a clear environmental profile and will be equipped with solar panels on the roof. Also, the safety of the employees is highly prioritised with the construction of a footbridge leading people from the car park to the mezzanine offices while avoiding any pedestrians passing the lorry terminals. The tenant, Bring Danmark, will be leasing the majority of the facility.

Logicenters develops a future proof cross-docking facility for Bring Danmark

Logicenters announces that it will develop a 14,872 m² modern logistics property near Copenhagen in Denmark. With almost 12 metres to the roof, this modern cross-docking facility will enjoy added flexible specifications for future use. The property is scheduled to complete in 2020, at which point the tenant, Bring Danmark, will move in its operations.

A new 14,872 m² modern logistics property will be completed by Logicenters in April 2020 at Ventrupparken 4 in Greve, a suburb to the Danish capital, Copenhagen. The majority of the building has already been leased to Bring Danmark. The facility will be particularly visible as it’s positioned adjacent to the busy E20 motorway leading in to Copenhagen and further in to Sweden.

Due to the added height of the building of almost 12 metres, it will be possible to do two-story sorting and a 2,000 m² mezzanine level will be fitted in as offices. The facility is also being built with the long-term aim to be able to adapt to future logistics needs, for example by using it as a warehouse.

FREJA extends cooperation with Logicenters in Denmark

FREJA Transport & Logistics A/S has operated from the facility in Høje-Taastrup since 2004. A new lease has now been signed between Logicenters and FREJA to extend this cooperation for a further 15 years. Additionally, the property is currently awaiting new upgrades.

The lease has now been extended between property owner Logicenters and tenant FREJA. Since 2004, the transport and logistics company has operated from the property in Høje-Taastrup in Denmark. The new agreement means that FREJA will stay until 2033, an extension of 15 years. In addition, a part of the 15,929 m² facility will be upgraded to handle pharmaceutical products, including fitted with a new heating and cooling system.

The facility is located at Litauen Allé 6 in Høje-Taastrups TransportCenter, 15 km from Copenhagen. FREJA Transport & Logistics A/S supplies and stores goods, such as pharmaceuticals, to customers who place high demands on transport as well as warehouse logistics. Furthermore, the facility it is one of FREJA’s international cross dock locations in Denmark.

“FREJA is a key customer for Logicenters, which makes us extremely proud to extend our cooperation. We strive to be a strategic partner to our tenants and understand the importance of offering flexible facilities with modern specifications. Hence, the scheduled upgrade of the property FREJA uses,” says Mikael Sahlin Olesen, Asset Manager at Logicenters.
