The logistics property company is continuing to establish itself in Sweden. Logicenters is now starting construction of its property in Pilängen Logistics Park, Örebro. The property has an estimated area of 14,500 m2 and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2022.
Logicenters has commenced the development of its first facility in the region at Vältgatan in Örebro. The modern logistics facility, with a total area of 14,500 m2, has been fully let and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2022. In line with Logicenters’ other new developments, the property will have a clear environmental profile. The ambition is for the properties to be environmentally certified in accordance with BREEAM Very Good and also to be equipped with solar panels.
“We are delighted to now be establishing ourselves in Örebro as we believe the area has great potential. The facility is strategically located in Pilängen with good transport links and proximity to the metropolitan regions. Örebro is also considered to be one of the top logistics areas in Sweden and our presence in the region is key to further strengthening Logicenters’ position as a leading logistics company in the Nordic region,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, CEO at Logicenters.
Logicenters’ new modern logistics facility is strategically located in a logistics park close to both the airport and the E18 and E20 motorways. Major companies such as Swedol, Postnord and Schenker have also been operating in the area for some time.
“We would like to warmly welcome Logicenters to Örebro. We are very proud that one of Sweden’s leading logistics companies has chosen to establish a facility in our municipality. We believe it is important that we continue to work to ensure that there is land available on which companies can establish themselves; something that we believe will generate more jobs and increase employment in our municipality. In addition, this establishment is proof of the advantages of Örebro’s strategic location and we believe that this could be the first of several collaborations in the future,” says John Johansson (S), mayor of Örebro municipality.
