Structural framing for Logicenters new logistics property in Kallhäll

Logicenters has commenced the development of its new logistics property in Kallhäll, just outside Stockholm. During June, the structural frame of the approximately 25,900-square-metre facility was erected. The property is scheduled for completion in 2027 and will be the second facility developed by Logicenters in the area. It will offer modern logistics space in one of the most strategic logistics locations in the Stockholm region.

 

The completion of the structural frame marks an important phase of the project and the development is now taking clear shape. The new property comprises a total of 25,913 square metres and is being developed to meet the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics facilities in the Stockholm region. With close proximity to the E18 highway, walking distance to Kallhäll centre, and access to the emerging infrastructure surrounding the Stockholm Bypass (Förbifart Stockholm), the facility will provide excellent accessibility for both employees and goods flows.

The property has been designed to accommodate a variety of business operations and can be divided for multiple tenants. The building will feature a clear internal height of 12.2 metres, 17 loading docks, and will be prepared for both office space and the future expansion of sustainable energy solutions.

 

”We are developing the facility with a strong focus on flexibility, efficiency, and long-term functionality. This enables the property to be adapted to different business needs while offering the qualities that today’s logistics operators demand”, says Fredrik Nygren.

 

The building is being constructed using recycled green steel for the frame, low-carbon concrete, and a roof prepared for solar panel installations covering approximately 75 percent of the roof area. The property is also targeting a BREEAM Excellent certification.
