FREJA builds new headquarters in Sweden together with Logicenters

Logicenters will develop FREJA’s new tailor-made logistics facility in Staffanstorp, with occupancy scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

FREJA Transport & Logistics continues to expand in the Swedish market. As part of the company’s strategic plan and forward-looking investment to strengthen its market position, a new logistics facility will be developed in a prime location in Staffanstorp.

The new facility is being developed specifically for FREJA’s operations and will comprise approximately 12,000 sqm, efficiently allocated for contract logistics (3PL warehousing), terminal handling and office space.

“We continue to grow sustainably with care for both our customers and our employees. This investment creates the conditions for a modern working environment where we can develop our business long term,” says Morten Dreyer, Managing Director of FREJA Transport & Logistics AB.

The property is planned to achieve BREEAM Excellent certification and will incorporate measures to reduce climate impact, including the installation of solar panels.

Logicenters gets new tenant in Staffanstorp – Swedish distributor moves in

Logicenters has signed a long-term lease agreement with a major Swedish distributor and retail chain. This means that both the first and second construction phases in the area are now fully leased. The premises are an addition of almost 50 jobs for Staffanstorp.

Logicenters welcomes another new player to Staffanstorp, filling the last vacant space of a total of 60,000 m2 of logistics space. The premises include refrigerated and frozen storage areas and are designed to meet high hygiene requirements.

Staffanstorp offers excellent conditions for efficient logistics operations with a strategic location between Lund and Malmö. In addition, the region’s other major cities and important transport routes further out into the country and Europe are within reach.

Logicenters is currently developing and managing over 75,000 m2 of state-of-the-art production and logistics space in Staffanstorp, where the new tenant contributes to an even more viable and diversified business cluster. There are also long-term opportunities for expansion with a further 40,000 m2 in the area. The new tenant is expected to move into the adapted premises in September 2025.

AAK invests in a new production and logistics facility in collaboration with Logicenters

AAK, specialists in plant-based oil and fat ingredients, is investing in a new state-of-the-art logistics facility in Staffanstorp, Sweden. This is taking place within the framework of its foodservice operations, and in collaboration with Logicenters.

AAK’s oil and fat ingredients are found in several popular consumer and foodservice products. Their development in Logicenters’ state-of-the-art facility in Kronoslätts industrial park, Staffanstorp marks an important step forward in their business venture.

The facility will be tailored for, among other things, the largest production of mayonnaise in the Nordic region, employ approximately 70 people, and cover approximately 16,000 m² with a long-term agreement and planned occupancy in 2026. The property will be certified according to BREEAM and have several features for reduced climate impact, including solar cells.

Kjell Group invests in a new automated warehouse from Logicenters

As part of the development of Kjell Group AB as the obvious choice in everyday technology, and to enable continued profitable growth, the company has entered a long-term lease agreement with Logicenters for a new state-of-the-art automated robot warehouse in Staffanstorp. The new central warehouse will enable even faster and more efficient deliveries for both service points and e-commerce.

Kjell Group has entered into a long-term lease agreement for a warehouse property with Logicenters. The new central warehouse is approximately 10,000 m² with the possibility of further expansion in the future. The property is environmentally certified and is designed to minimize energy use with solar panels installed on the roof.

”Kjell has established themselves as one of our most well-known brands, and we are very proud to see them now setting up in Staffanstorp. The new state-of-the-art warehouse will have a cost-effective and climate-smart automation solution from Autostore. Robots will pick and pack goods to meet increasing sales volumes, optimize the efficiency of the logistics chain and improve the customer offering. The investment in automation is estimated to amount to approximately SEK 80 million in 2025-2026 and is expected to reduce distribution costs and increase efficiency by approximately 30 percent. The new warehouse is expected to be operational during the fourth quarter of 2025 and fully integrated during 2026.

KåKå becomes new long-term tenant at Logicenters in Staffanstorp

KåKå has signed a long-term lease agreement with Logicenters for a large facility in the Kronoslätt industrial park. The warehouse will be specifically designed to handle frozen, chilled, and dry goods, and will include dining areas, lounge spaces, conference rooms, a gym, and workstations. The facility is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

Since 1927, KåKå has been an innovative driving force in the Swedish bakery market. The company is currently Sweden’s leading supplier of ingredients and accessories for bakeries, pastry shops, and the general baking industry. KåKå is also a part of Orkla Food Ingredients.

It has now been confirmed that KåKå is entering a long-term lease agreement with Logicenters. The agreement in Kronoslätt industrial park spans over 15 years and includes a large property tailored to the needs of the tenant – with excellent solutions for handling the bakery supplier’s frozen, chilled, and dry goods. KåKå will retain its headquarters in Lomma.

Ekolution moves in with Logicenters in Staffanstorp and continues its investment in the insulation of the future

A new tenant is now confirmed for Logicenters facility in Kronoslätts logistics park. The sustainable insulation company Ekolution is expanding its operations by taking over 11,500 m² in an existing property. The move will take place during the second half of 2024.

Ekolution works to address challenges regarding sustainability, energy efficiency, and carbon emissions in the construction and real estate industries – something they have already done in Logicenters innovation project in Bålsta, where they delivered CO2-binding hemp fiber insulation. Before the move, the premises will be adapted to accommodate Ekolution’s machinery in the existing property.

They have done a fantastic work in our innovation project in Bålsta, and we look forward to following their journey more closely as they move in. Bona moves to Staffanstorp – leasing 7,000 m2

Flooring supplier Bona has signed a multi-year lease agreement with Logicenters for 7,000 m2 in Staffanstorp, just outside Malmö.

Bona has been an important and trusted family-owned company in the Skåne region since 1919. Its passion was born out of providing solutions that keep floors fine and functional throughout their lifetime. Today, the company supplies products and systems for installation worldwide.

It has been announced that Bona is expanding its presence in Staffanstorp, just outside Malmö where it was once created. A multi-year lease agreement has been signed with Logicenters for 7,000 m2 at the logistics property company’s new facility.

Sweden’s largest electrical store moves into Staffanstorp

Elbutik has signed a long-term lease with Logicenters to move into the state-of-the-art facility currently under development in Staffanstorp.

Logicenters’ 200,000 m² site in Staffanstorp is being developed into a full-scale logistics park. It has been announced that one of the new tenants at the site will be Elbutik.se, Sweden’s largest online electrical store. It is part of the listed Elektroimportören Group, which is continuing to record strong growth and positive development in the market. The lease for more than 10,000 m² spans ten years and a state-of-the-art Autostore unit will be installed at the premises for efficient logistics handling.

“Following on from our strong growth in Norway with Elektroimportøren and our recent acquisition of Elbutik Scandinavia, we are really looking forward to strengthening our presence yet further in Staffanstorp. First Class Brands of Sweden signs lease with Logicenters – becomes first tenant in Staffanstorp

One of Sweden’s fastest growing health product companies has signed a lease with Logicenters to move into their upcoming state-of-the-art facility in Staffanstorp, Skåne. The parties have signed a seven-year lease for a 5,000 m² area in Logicenters’ future property. The entire facility is scheduled for completion in early 2022 and First Class Brands of Sweden is expected to move in later that year. The remainder of the property, measuring as much as 20,000 m², is currently being built on speculation.

Logicenters’ modern property in Staffanstorp, just outside Malmö, will be ready for its tenants at the beginning of 2022. The property, with a total area of 25,000 m², has already secured its first prospective tenant, as Logicenters has now signed a lease agreement with the fast-growing health product company First Class Brands of Sweden. The lease is for an area of 5,000 m² and the company is expected to move into its new premises in August 2022.

“We are delighted that First Class Brands of Sweden will be the first tenant in our upcoming modern property. It is great to be investing in Staffanstorp and First Class Brands of Sweden is an excellent example of a forward-looking company which has realised the value in the attractive location of the area,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Logicenters.
